Lexi Lewis, a Cleveland, Ohio native, now calls the vibrant Tampa Bay area home. A driven professional with a strong academic background, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Arcadia University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems. With over 30 years of experience in the corporate sector, she has made a mark as an IT Business Analyst, bringing expertise and innovation to the ever-evolving field of Information Technology.
Beyond her corporate career, Lexi Lewis is a renowned celebrity journalist, announcer, and radio host. For over a decade, she has been a contributing writer for Smooth Jazz Magazine, conducting exclusive interviews with some of the biggest names in entertainment, including the late George Duke, Larry Carlton, Fred Hammond, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Scotty McCreery, and Robert Lamm of the legendary band Chicago. Her interviews extend to music icons such as Otis Williams (founder of The Temptations), Eddie Levert Sr. (The O’Jays), and Emmy Award-winning actor Obba Babatundé.
Her exceptional writing skills caught the attention of the late legendary Tony Bennett, who was so moved by her review of his performance that he personally wrote her a letter thanking her for the wonderful review—an honor that speaks to the depth of her talent as a journalist.
Lexi’s impressive hosting abilities have placed her in front of thousands at live audience events. For two consecutive years, she hosted a four-day music festival, commanding the stage and engaging with 6,000 to 7,000 attendees daily, demonstrating her dynamic presence and ability to connect with large crowds. Her work in event production also includes earning IMDb credit as co-host of the 2015 Chicago Music Awards and contributing behind the scenes at the 2015 Stellar Awards. In 2019, she shared the stage with actor Lamman Rucker (Greenleaf, Why Did I Get Married?) as the host of the Black Women in Jazz and The Arts Awards.
